Grand Master began his training in 1961 under the Moo Duk Kwan System. He earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1962. As a 6th Degree he became the Official Instructor of the Korean Army for 2 years. In 1979 Grand Master was invited by the Prime Minister of Peru to teach and train more than 5000 officers and special forces of the Peruvian Military. At this time he was also named the National Technical Director and Chief Instructor of the Peruvian Taekwondo Federation. In 1981 he was the Peruvian National Coach for the 5th World Taekwondo Championships. Grand Master also coached for the 8th World Championships in Barcelona Spain as a 7th degree. Receiving honors from Peru's Chief Commander of the Ministry of War and the Ministry of Defense. In the 1990's Grand Master received various letters of appreciation and honor from Dr. Un Yong Kim, then President of Kikkiwon and also from the International Olympic Committee for his contributions and dedication to the sport of Taekwondo.Today as a 9th Degree Black Belt and President of USAT MAC Florida. Grand Master leads two Academies in Miami Lakes & Weston Florida.He has hopes to expand his Taekwondo philosophy to aspiring athletes and future Masters. Grand Master currently provides consulting for Olympic directors, Olympic coaches and athletes as well as seminars both locally and internationally. Most recently Grand Master was asked to teach the Peruvian Special Forces Commando Unit modern forms of hand to hand combat.
